Frontend UI Developer, React / TypeScript New York City | Up to $1.25M Total Compensation A leading global investment firm is looking for an exceptional Frontend UI Developer to join an engineering group supporting its Equities business. This is not a traditional frontend position. You’ll build sophisticated, highly interactive applications used by investment and engineering teams to understand performance, risk, positions and market information in real time. The engineering challenges sit at the intersection of complex financial data, distributed systems and modern UI development. Applications need to make enormous amounts of rapidly changing information intuitive, responsive and actionable. You’ll work closely with quantitative researchers, portfolio teams and backend engineers, with significant ownership over both the technical architecture and user experience.
