Description

Description The Platform Engineer (Mid-Level) is an engineering role on the newly established DFS Platform Services team. This role contributes directly to building, operating, and maintaining the internal platform that enables development and operations teams to ship software faster and more reliably. The candidate will work under the guidance of the Lead and Senior Platform Engineers in a structured, mentorship-rich environment. Duties Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting development team delivery workflowsAuthor and maintain Terraform code for GCP infrastructure provisioning following established standards and patternsSupport and maintain existing Salesforce/GearSet deployment pipelines, including troubleshooting and documentationMaintain the SonarQube and GitHub integration for static code analysis and security scanningManage build artifacts using GCP Artifact RegistrySupport the observability stack including Splunk log forwarding, monitoring, and alertingSupport GKE cluster operations including workload deployments and namespace managementManage GCP resources including compute, networking, IAM, and secrets management across dev, test, and production environmentsMigrate manually provisioned GCP resources into TerraformParticipate in Agile ceremonies and sprint delivery Mandatory Requirements Experience (12+ Years)Applies engineering disciplines to cloud computing and brings a systematic approach to concerns of commercialization, standardization, and governance of cloud computing applications. Leverages the methods and tools of engineering in conceiving, developing, operating and maintaining cloud computing systems and solutions. Uses the economics of cloud resources to solve business problems.
