Our goal is to help expatriates and diaspora communities build meaningful friendships, find support, and feel more connected—whether they recently moved abroad or have lived there for many years. About the Internship We are looking for a motivated Full-Stack Developer Intern who wants to gain practical experience contributing to real web and mobile applications. The successful candidate will work with our existing MERN application, gain exposure to full-stack development, and receive regular guidance and feedback. The intern will also work alongside an experienced software developer who works for a major technology company in Toronto. This is an opportunity to learn professional development practices while helping build and improve KinMeet’s web and mobile applications. The internship will provide hands-on experience with modern full-stack and mobile development technologies, including the MERN stack, TypeScript, React Native, real-time communication, authentication, cloud media management, and GitHub-based development workflows. This is an unpaid internship requiring approximately 5–10 hours per week. The schedule is flexible, and the work can be completed remotely. KinMeet will cover the cost of any software-development tools and services required to complete assigned work. The intern will not be expected to pay for required development tools.
