About the Opportunity The Software Engineer contributes to the development and enhancement of a cloud-based platform within the pharmacy business unit. This mid-level role focuses on building scalable systems, supporting customer onboarding, and automating operational workflows. The position translates business and technical requirements into effective solutions while collaborating with distributed engineering teams and maintaining high standards for data security, privacy, and compliance. Responsibilities • Design, develop, test, and deploy solutions within the organization’s cloud platform. • Build and modify systems supporting new customer onboarding and tenant creation. • Identify manual workflows and implement automation opportunities to improve efficiency. • Translate business and technical requirements into clear, executable tasks for distributed engineering teams. • Handle client and healthcare data responsibly while maintaining applicable security and privacy standards. • Collaborate with systems engineers and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective technical solutions. • Contribute new ideas, technical approaches, and engineering best practices to the team. • Troubleshoot application and system issues and implement appropriate resolutions. • Maintain compliance with confidentiality requirements, HIPAA, regulatory policies, and organizational procedures. • Participate in an on-call rotation to support critical issues outside standard business hours. Requirements • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer, or in a related role. • Strong proficiency in C# as a primary development language. • Solid knowledge of SQL, including writing, optimizing, and troubleshooting queries. • Experience developing scripts for automation, tooling, and operational workflows. • Ability to take ownership of projects from requirements through implementation. • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and test-driven development. • Experience working with distributed or offshore engineering teams preferred. • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Pay Range and Compensation Package • Base compensation range: $90,000–$130,000 USD per year. • Position may be eligible for performance-based incentives. • Actual compensation will depend on skills, experience, business needs, geographic location, and other relevant factors.
