About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Front-End Developer to join our dynamic team, focusing on the development and evolution of our design system.
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for creating scalable, reusable, and maintainable web components that form the foundation of our digital products.
Your expertise will ensure consistency, quality, and efficiency across all applications, enabling our product teams to deliver exceptional user experiences.
Working closely with designers, product managers, and fellow developers, you will translate design principles into robust technical solutions, driving advanced theming capabilities to support diverse brand identities and user preferences.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess over 8 years of experience in front-end development, with a significant focus on design system creation and maintenance.
You should have expert-level proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, along with deep expertise in modern frameworks such as Angular and React.
A strong command of CSS, including pre-processors, advanced styling techniques, CSS variables, and color systems, is essential.
Experience with Web Components and their application in large-scale systems is highly desirable.
You should have a proven track record in scaling design systems, managing complex theming architectures, and ensuring smooth deployment processes.
Familiarity with version control, dependency management, and package versioning within a component library context is required.
Excellent communication skills, a keen eye for visual and interaction details, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams are crucial for success in this role.
Responsibilities
Lead the development and ongoing evolution of our design system, emphasizing reusability, scalability, and maintainability of components.Architect and implement web components that serve as the building blocks for user interfaces across multiple applications.Drive advanced theming solutions, leveraging CSS variables, variable stacking, and sophisticated color systems to support various brand identities and user preferences.Manage the full lifecycle of design system components, including development, deployment, versioning, and maintenance.Oversee library and package dependency management, ensuring a stable and efficient development environment.Collaborate closely with design, product, and engineering teams to translate design principles into technical implementations.Champion best practices in front-end development, focusing on performance, accessibility, and user experience.Mentor and guide junior developers and team members on design system principles and implementation strategies.Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, guidelines, and code demonstrations to facilitate effective usage by designers and developers.Create working code samples and prototypes to demonstrate component capabilities and usage scenarios.

The base salary for this role ranges between $95,000 and $209,000 annually, determined based on experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
