About The Role As a Python Developer at Booz Allen Hamilton, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining advanced content management systems (CMS) that support our clients' digital transformation initiatives. You will lead the development of both out-of-the-box and bespoke modules or plugins within CMS frameworks, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance. Qualifications To be successful in this role, candidates should possess a minimum of 5+ years of experience in creating and configuring customized content management solutions within an Agile environment. A strong background in programming languages such as Python, PHP, or JavaScript is essential, along with extensive experience working with legacy enterprise systems. Candidates must have proven expertise in developing and testing interfaces between various software products, including integrating third-party APIs and web services. Familiarity with workflows, web parts, site maintenance, and content migration in platforms like Drupal or WordPress is required. Knowledge of source control systems such as Git is necessary for collaborative development. A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or at least 8+ years of professional software development experience can substitute for formal education. Additionally, candidates must hold a Top Secret clearance, with TS/SCI with polygraph being a plus. Experience working in microservices architectures, cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and familiarity with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, React, Angular, or NodeJS are advantageous.
