About The Role McKesson is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join the Specialty Access & Affordability value stream, specifically within the FastAuth team. This role is pivotal in developing and scaling applications that expedite the prior authorization process for specialty prescriptions, ultimately reducing the time from prescription writing to patient therapy initiation. As part of this team, you will work on building innovative solutions that directly impact patient care and healthcare efficiency. You will collaborate with a talented group of engineers who are committed to delivering high-quality, reliable software. The team works across React front ends, .NET services, and Azure-based event-driven architectures. This position offers a hands-on environment where continuous delivery and ownership of your work are fundamental. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. Typically, candidates should have at least 8+ years of relevant experience in software development, with a proven track record of delivering production-quality applications. Critical skills include proficiency in TypeScript, React, and/or .NET, along with experience working with Azure cloud services and infrastructure. Familiarity with event-driven architectures, especially Kafka, and the effective use of AI tools in development workflows are highly valued.
