About The Role McKesson is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join the Specialty Access & Affordability value stream, specifically within the FastAuth team. This role is pivotal in developing and scaling applications that expedite the prior authorization process for specialty prescriptions, ultimately reducing the time from prescription writing to patient therapy initiation. As part of this team, you will work on building innovative solutions that directly impact patient care and healthcare efficiency. You will collaborate with a talented group of engineers who are committed to delivering high-quality, reliable software. The team works across React front ends, .NET services, and Azure-based event-driven architectures. This position offers a hands-on environment where continuous delivery and ownership of your work are fundamental. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. Typically, candidates should have at least 8+ years of relevant experience in software development, with a proven track record of delivering production-quality applications. Critical skills include proficiency in TypeScript, React, and/or .NET, along with experience working with Azure cloud services and infrastructure. Familiarity with event-driven architectures, especially Kafka, and the effective use of AI tools in development workflows are highly valued. Additional qualifications include the ability to translate complex business requirements into elegant technical solutions, strong collaboration skills, and a bias toward completing work with consistency and quality. Candidates should also demonstrate the ability to work independently with limited guidance and adapt quickly to evolving priorities. Responsibilities Design and develop scalable, robust web applications utilizing TypeScript, React, and .NET technologies.Collaborate with engineers and architects to design and implement Azure cloud solutions that support application requirements.Lead and mentor team members through complex technical challenges, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.Contribute to building and maintaining event-driven architecture, ensuring seamless integration and data flow.Transform ambiguous business requirements into simple, effective technical solutions that meet user needs.Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and mentoring to elevate team standards and technical excellence.Ensure high-quality deliverables by adhering to predictable development cadences and best practices.Support deployed applications through monitoring, troubleshooting, and implementing continuous improvements.Engage actively in agile ceremonies, technical planning, and design reviews to align team efforts with project goals. Compensation is determined based on factors such as experience, performance, skills, and market conditions, with a pay range for this role of $131,000 to $218,300.
