Silicon Photonics Specialist Field - Service Engineer (m/f/d) /
who performs installations, troubleshooting and repairs at our customers' sites.
In Our Company, Your Core Responsibilities Include
Supporting our Silicon Photonics Wafer Probe System productInstallation & commissioning of probers and accessories, including final acceptance according to test and acceptance regulationsIndependent execution of preventive & corrective maintenance at the customer's site in the service area EMEAPreparation of commissioning protocols and acceptance reportsTechnical training and instruction of customersTroubleshooting and repair of our probers both as remote / telephone support and at the customer's siteTimely processing and documentation of work orders and service calls according to FormFactor guidelinesActively collaborate with other FormFactor departments to ensure continuous improvement of productsRegular participation in qualification measuresAdherence to all health and safety requirements both internally and during customer service calls
What You Should Bring With You
Engineer or technician in the field of electrical engineering, automation technology or similarAt least 2-4 years of experience in a similar field of activity is typically required, ideally in Silicon Photonics and/or semiconductor testDetail-oriented work and strong problem-solving skillsAccuracy, punctuality, good team and interpersonal skillsGood communication skills in German and English both verbally and in writingGood knowledge of common MS Office applicationsValid driving license and willingness to travel required
