Description

Webito is a modern commerce platform helping businesses launch, manage, and grow their online stores across Europe. Our platform brings together the core parts of running an online business — from products, orders, inventory and payments to VAT, e-invoicing, and B2B/B2C commerce. We’re also building a flexible plugin ecosystem that allows businesses to extend the platform around their own needs. We’re looking for a Full Stack Node.js Engineer to join our engineering team in Prague. The role You’ll work across the stack, with a strong focus on Node.js and TypeScript. You’ll be involved in building new features as well as improving the systems we already have in production. Your day-to-day work may include: • Building and maintaining Node.js and TypeScript services • Designing and developing RESTful or GraphQL APIs • Building frontend features with React or similar technologies • Working with databases and third-party integrations • Improving performance, reliability, and security • Writing clean, testable and maintainable code • Reviewing code and contributing to technical decisions • Working closely with product and design • Improving our architecture and developer tooling We’re a product-focused engineering team, so we’re looking for someone who enjoys taking ownership, solving problems independently, and seeing their work through from an idea to production. What we're looking for • Strong professional experience with Node.js and TypeScript • Experience building production web applications and APIs • Good understanding of backend architecture and web application fundamentals • Experience with React, Vue, or another modern frontend framework • Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases • Good understanding of HTML and CSS • Familiarity with Git and modern development workflows • Experience with Docker and CI/CD is a plus • Good understanding of security, scalability, and performance • Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively with a cross-functional team • A degree in Computer Science or a related field is a plus, but practical experience matters more to us Interview process We keep the process straightforward and try not to add unnecessary interview rounds. 1.Intro call — 30 minutes A short conversation to get to know each other, talk about your experience, and give you a better understanding of the role and the team. 2.Technical interview — 60 minutes A technical discussion covering your previous work, Node.js, TypeScript, databases, architecture, and how you approach real-world engineering problems. 3.Final interview — 45–60 minutes A conversation with the engineering team about collaboration, ownership, technical decisions, and what working at Webito looks like. 4. Offer If we’re a good fit, we’ll move forward with an offer and discuss the details. What we offer • €5,000–€7,000 gross/month depending on experience • Full-time employment • On-site position in Prague • Work on a real commerce platform serving businesses across Europe • Small and collaborative engineering team • Meaningful ownership over technical decisions and product features • Modern Node.js and TypeScript stack • Opportunity to work on distributed systems, integrations, and developer tooling ⚠️ Relocation and visa sponsorship are not available for this position.
