Technical Service & Development Specialist

Overview The purpose of this role is to develop and implement innovative technical solutions and provide expert customer support within the CASE (Coatings, Adhesives, Sealants, Elastomers) market, with a strong focus on Adhesives & Sealants applications across the EMEA region. The role drives value creation by translating customer needs into differentiated products, ensuring successful industrial implementation, and strengthening customer relationships to support sustainable business growth for Trinseo. Responsibilities In this role, you will translate customer needs into innovative, cost-effective solutions while supporting business growth, expanding market opportunities, and strengthening our technical leadership in the CASE industry particularly in the field of Adhesives & Sealant area. You Will Act As a Key Interface Between Customers And Internal Teams, Leading Product Development From Concept Through Commercialization And Ensuring Successful Implementation At Customer Sites. As Part Of Responsibilities, You Will : Serve as the primary technical contact for strategic customers and growth applicationsSupport customers in new grade development, formulation optimization, and process improvementLead product development projects, including laboratory studies and scale-upTranslate customer requirements into differentiated, value-driven solutionsIdentify and develop new market opportunities, customers, and applicationsDrive product implementation and qualification at customer sites in collaboration with cross-functional teamsContribute to revenue growth, margin improvement, and EBIT expansionBuild strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and industry stakeholdersRepresent Trinseo as a technical expert at conferences, exhibitions, and industry forumFollow competition progresses in your application including patent surveys Qualifications: Qualifications Advanced degree in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Materials Science, or related field such as engineer school with proven internships in Adhesives areas (Packaging Adhesives, Pressure sensitive Adhesives, Sealants, Structural or Reactive adhesives systems, formulation, polymer synthesis, etc…), pHD in the same fieldStrong experience in CASE (Coatings, Adhesives, Sealants, Elastomers) or Adhesives/sealants applications / formulationsProven track record in technical service, product development, or customer-facing rolesFluency in English, the company language, and German and/or French is/are a plus Skills: Mobile and able to travel approximately up to 25% of the timeGood interpersonal and communication skills are criticalVery structured and pro-active way of workingIndependent worker, hands-on capabilities and proactive personality
