See below. We're hiring for a UK-based client building the infrastructure behind a platform that keeps families and communities safer online. It's a hands-on senior role where your decisions on reliability and performance directly will affect real users worldwide. This role is not a fit if: Your Linux experience is entirely cloud-native/managed (e.g. EC2 instances, managed Kubernetes) with no bare-metal or on-prem server administrationYou can't commit to an on-call rotation covering evenings and weekendsYou're not eligible to work in the UK This role is a great fit if you have: Genuine bare-metal Linux administration experience e.g. OS internals, performance tuning, physical hardware troubleshootingSolid networking fundamentals (switches, routers, firewalls, proxy servers)Terraform, Ansible/Puppet, and Kubernetes/Docker in productionKafka and Redis experienceCI/CD pipeline ownership (GitLab preferred)Grafana/monitoring experience and a proactive approach to reliabilityNice to have: Azure/AWS, relevant certs (Linux, networking, cloud) What's on offer: £50,000–£60,000, fully remoteOn-call support from an experienced, collaborative teamMentoring and genuine progressionWork with real commercial impact, not just technical novelty How to apply: READ CAREFULLY, this determines whether you're considered: Submit ONE PDF or Word document containing your CV and a cover letter.
