Senior Software Developer

Pinewood.AI is looking for experienced hands-on Senior Developers to play a key role in our software development teams based in Solihull. Working closely with Lead Developers, Engineering colleagues, Product, testers, and other colleagues across the wider business, you will support the delivery and ongoing development of our Automotive Intelligence Platform. As a senior member of the team, you will contribute to the design, development, and delivery of high-quality, scalable solutions for the Pinewood Automotive Intelligence Platform, our enterprise-scale SaaS product used by automotive retailers and OEMs worldwide. This role is ideal for a strong, hands-on developer who enjoys building new product features, developing integrations with third-party systems, and working across the full software development lifecycle while supporting high engineering standards within a collaborative team environment. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and enhance enterprise-level software solutions using C#, .NET / .NET Core, Razor, Web API, SQL Server, HTML, and JavaScriptWork closely with Product Owners, testers, UI/UX specialists, and Engineering colleagues to deliver new functionality, improvements, and integrations with third-party systemsRemain hands-on in coding, solution design, and development across the full .NET stackDevelop and maintain integrations with third-party platforms using APIs and other integration methodsSupport best practices across development, testing, and deployment to ensure scalable, secure, and maintainable solutionsContribute to CI/CD pipelines, development tooling, and engineering practices alongside the wider Engineering teamParticipate in technical discussions and contribute ideas that support product improvement and delivery effectivenessDiagnose complex technical issues, including integration challenges, data consistency issues, and performance improvementsSupport knowledge sharing and code quality through peer reviews and collaborationContribute to a collaborative engineering culture focused on clean, efficient code and practical delivery Requirements: Proven experience as a Senior Developer within a SaaS or enterprise software environmentStrong hands-on expertise in C#, .NET / .NET Core, and SQL / T-SQLSolid understanding of database design, performance optimisation, and query tuningExperience delivering front-end functionality using HTML, JavaScript, and RazorExperience building and supporting integrations with third-party systems using REST APIs or similar technologiesPractical experience working with Azure Cloud Services and Azure DevOps, or equivalent CI/CD toolingProficiency with Visual Studio or VS CodeStrong understanding of software development practices and agile delivery methodsExperience working across the full software development lifecycle, from concept through to production supportStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a passion for clean, efficient, and maintainable codeExperience in enterprise SaaS industries, or with complex, high-availability platforms, would be beneficial Why Join Us?
