About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled Node.js Developer to join our dynamic development team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable backend applications using JavaScript and the Node.js runtime. Your expertise will be pivotal in creating robust RESTful APIs, microservices, and real-time applications that form the backbone of our core business operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building microservice architectures, integrating various technologies, and implementing secure, efficient solutions. Qualifications Minimum of 5+ years of experience working with Node.js framework.Hands-on experience in designing and implementing microservices-based architectures.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, coupled with 8+ years of IT development or testing experience. Alternatively, a high school diploma or GED with 10+ years of web application development experience, emphasizing JavaScript frameworks.At least 5+ years of programming experience in Java/Javascript, with 3+ years specifically in Node.js or comparable frameworks.Solid understanding of object-oriented design patterns, microservices architecture, and event-driven design principles.Experience with information security practices from a systems development perspective, including OWASP, OAUTH2, and related security protocols.Design and implementation experience with integration technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Mulesoft.Proficiency in web development technologies including HTML, XML, JavaScript, ASP, SQL, Java, or Python, along with SOAP and REST-based web services.Experience utilizing continuous integration tools and practices such as GIT, Atlassian BitBucket Pipelines, and Docker containers. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js and JavaScript frameworks.Create and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices to support various business functionalities.Implement real-time data processing solutions and event-driven architectures to enhance system responsiveness.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend developers, product managers, and security specialists to deliver integrated solutions.Ensure the security and integrity of applications by adhering to best practices and security standards such as OWASP and OAuth2.Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes to maintain high-quality standards.Contribute to continuous integration and delivery pipelines, leveraging tools like GIT, Docker, and Atlassian BitBucket Pipelines.Identify and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and bugs to ensure optimal application performance.Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions and improvements.
