Remote Developer & Infrastructure Engineer

The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable infrastructure solutions to support high-performance computing platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize system performance, ensure reliability, and enhance security across distributed environments. Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and deploy cloud-based infrastructure components using modern DevOps practices and tools. • Optimize system performance by monitoring resource utilization, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing scalable solutions. • Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment pipelines to improve efficiency and consistency. • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across development, testing, and production environments. • Collaborate with software engineering teams to integrate infrastructure requirements into application development cycles. Required Skills & Qualifications: • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, with a focus on compute, networking, and storage services. • Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation for automated deployments. • Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages to automate operational tasks. • Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration for scalable deployments. • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI. • Understanding of networking fundamentals, including load balancing, VPC, and security groups. • Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack. • Ability to analyze system performance metrics and implement improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency.
