About The Role The Staff DevOps Engineer role at Ad Hoc is a senior, strategic position designed for an experienced professional passionate about infrastructure automation, cloud architecture, and software delivery pipelines. This remote position offers the opportunity to lead and influence the technical direction of critical programs, particularly within the Veterans Affairs business unit. As a key individual contributor, you will serve as a subject matter expert, guiding cloud infrastructure design, implementing best practices in DevOps, and advocating for scalable, secure, and reliable systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and government partners to ensure that software solutions meet security, performance, and compliance standards. Your leadership will help shape long-term technical strategies, improve operational efficiencies, and foster a culture of continuous delivery and innovation.
