Job Summary The Software Developers are responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions under the Agile methodology. They play a key role in contributing to development efforts, implementing features, and collaborating with Agile teams to deliver high-quality software increments. This role requires solid technical skills, an understanding of Agile principles, and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment. The Developers work alongside the Government Supervisors, Product Owners, and other developers. Key Responsibilities Software Development: Design, develop, and maintain software applications, features, and components using programming languages, frameworks, and tools, following coding standards and best practices.Agile Collaboration: Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews, collaborating with Agile teams to estimate effort, prioritize development tasks, and provide regular updates on progress.Feature Implementation: Implement assigned user stories and tasks, ensuring alignment with project requirements and acceptance criteria. Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve ambiguities.Code Quality and Testing: Write clean, maintainable code and conduct unit testing to verify software functionality. Collaborate with QA engineers to ensure adequate test coverage and participate in troubleshooting and debugging activities.Documentation: Document software designs, implementation details, and technical specifications. Maintain documentation up to date to facilitate knowledge sharing and future maintenance.Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization within Agile development practices. Contribute ideas and suggestions to enhance team productivity and software quality.Technical Research: Stay updated on emerging technologies, programming languages, and development trends. Conduct research and experimentation to explore new tools and techniques that can improve development practices.Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other teams such as UX/UI designers, DevOps engineers, and business analysts to ensure a holistic approach to software development and delivery. Required Qualifications 3+ years of professional software development experience.Experience developing programs in Python.Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Go, Bash, JavaScript).Familiarity with Git, Jira, and collaborative development tools. Preferred Qualifications Any experience in Mobile development (iOS/Android).Exposure to continuous integration (CI) and continuous development (CD), infrastructure automation, and cloud technologies.Experience with UI/UX development technologies, especially with JavaScript frameworks, such as React, Angular, or Vue.
