Job Title: Structures Site Engineer Location: Australia (DIDO Project) Employment Type: Full-time Role Description: The Site Engineer – will oversee structural works on major infrastructure projects, ensuring safe, timely, and quality delivery in line with project specifications and standards. This role is based on-site, and involves coordinating construction activities, monitoring progress, and resolving technical and engineering issues related to structural components. The position includes reviewing drawings and documentation, preparing and updating project plans, managing site records, and supporting reporting to project management and clients. The engineer will liaise with multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors, and suppliers, contribute to risk and constructability reviews, and support compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Project Engineering and Structural Engineering skills, with experience on infrastructure or heavy civil projects.Experience with quality systems — ITPs, hold points, NCRs, lot registers Candidates should possess Project Management and Project Planning skills, including scheduling, progress tracking, and coordinating multiple stakeholders.Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with site teams, clients, and subcontractors and produce clear technical documentation.Candidates should possess relevant Engineering knowledge; exposure to Civil or structural engineering interfaces and multidisciplinary coordination will be beneficial.Relevant tertiary qualification in Civil or Structural Engineering (or closely related discipline) and eligibility for professional membership is preferred.Experience working on-site in major infrastructure projects, with sound understanding of construction methodologies, safety standards, and quality control processes.Proficiency with project and engineering software (e.g., MS Project or similar scheduling tools, CAD or model review tools) and strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.Current White Card (mandatory)Open to FIFO/DIDO rosters
