Android Software Engineer

Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Software Developer 1, Android to job the Dynamic Experiences Front-End team. This team is at the heart of Intuit’s UI platform and AI native strategies, owning Player, the cross-platform, semantic rendering engine that powers dynamic experiences across TurboTax, QuickBooks, and Mailchimp. This role is integral to our AI-Native future. You will sit at the intersection of developer experience, UX frameworks, and platform engineering where AI and agentic technologies don't just assist but actively create rich user interfaces and flows dynamically. Intuit has embraced a hybrid working model with the expectation of working from our Toronto office 3 days per week. Responsibilities Successful delivery of high quality mobile UI platformsExtensively leverage AI coding assistants and modern tooling to write, test, and deploy code faster and more efficiently than traditional methodsPartner effectively with all team members to deliver against commitmentsWork cross-functionally with various Intuit teams to drive forward results.Commitment to team success and positive team dynamicsPassion for growing and applying technical skills in service to customersExperience with Agile Development, SCRUM, and/or Kanban Programming methodologies Qualifications BS/MS in Computer Science or related area or equivalent experienceExperience with Swift and modern iOS technologies like SwiftUIExperience in the Software design/architecture processExperience with web services (consuming or creating) with REST or SOAPStrong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues to different audiences Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach.
