6 months initial contract with potential extensionBuild scalable cloud data solutions with SnowflakeDrive platform innovation using dbt and Python We are seeking a talented Data Engineer to join a high-performing Systems team responsible for developing and enhancing a modern enterprise data platform that supports critical business and technical functions. This role will focus on designing, building and optimising scalable data solutions within a Snowflake environment, enabling reliable, secure and efficient data delivery across the organisation. Key Responsibilities Contribute to the ongoing development and enhancement of the enterprise data platform.Design, build and maintain scalable, reusable dbt models and macros.Develop and support data pipelines using dbt Core and Snowflake.Refactor and optimise existing data solutions to improve performance, scalability and maintainability.Collaborate with team members through code reviews, technical discussions, testing and troubleshooting activities. Key Skills & Experience Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, Snowflake and dbt Core.Demonstrated experience with Data Vault and Dimensional Modelling methodologies.Experience developing, maintaining and optimising modern cloud-based data pipelines.Working knowledge of Git and collaborative software development practices.Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
