The Lead Procurement Engineer provides execution leadership for complex procurement scopes while delivering daily oversight of a small team. This role is accountable for predictable supplier delivery across cost, schedule, quality, and technical requirements. Operating under Manager guidance, the Lead coordinates team execution, drives prioritization, and ensures agreement to program delivery goals. You will report to Senior Manager based in the US. The position will require travel up to 20%. You will work in hybrid model with 2 days at office. Responsibilities Execution & Delivery Leadership Lead procurement execution across assigned scopes from pre-PO through deliveryProvide daily direction, prioritization, and oversight to a small teamMonitor performance, remove roadblocks, and enforce execution disciplineMake daily operational decisions aligned with Manager priorities Supplier Delivery & Risk Management Oversee supplier performance across schedule, quality, and technical complianceManage, and resolve execution risks; escalate critical issuesDrive supplier accountability and corrective actions Technical & Regulatory Integration Ensure clear communication of technical, safety, and nuclear quality requirements (ASME, NQA-1)Prepare and review safety-related requisitions in compliance with standards Cross-Functional Coordination Align execution across Engineering, Quality, Commercial, and SPESupport planning, estimates, and resource coordination Sourcing & Commercial Execution Lead RFx execution (supplier engagement, evaluation, negotiation support)Support sourcing strategy implementation in consideration of delivery Cost & Value Management Apply total cost of ownership principles to drive valueIdentify cost improvement opportunities PO & Contract Execution Oversee PO lifecycle (placement, tracking, changes, issue resolution)Support invoice and commercial issue resolution Qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering (Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or Nuclear preferred) or Supply Chain10+ years of progressively responsible experience in procurement, engineering, or project execution within a regulated/industrial environmentNuclear industry experience (ASME Section III, NQA-1)Experience with large-scale EPC or capital projectsDemonstrated experience managing global suppliers and complex contractsExperience with nuclear procurement requirements, quality standards, and supplier manufacturing processesDemonstrated experience in managing complex, global supply chains with high execution riskExperience working across cross-functional teams and suppliersFamiliarity with SAP, PowerBI, SharepointProject Management Professional (PMP) a plus. The gross base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be 17,000 to 21,250 PLN gross per month.
