About The Role We are seeking an experienced Senior Python Developer to join our dynamic team at Involved Solutions. This role offers the opportunity to work within a large-scale technology environment, focusing on developing automation solutions, backend services, and tooling that support complex telecoms and network operations. The Senior Python Developer will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks and APIs that enhance operational efficiency across 5G and enterprise platforms. This position is hands-on, requiring a strong proficiency in Python programming, REST API development, and automation. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Network Engineering, QA, and DevOps, to deliver scalable and reliable solutions. Exposure to Linux, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, databases, and network technologies is essential, as the role involves integrating various systems and automating network-related processes to improve testing, monitoring, and operational workflows. The ideal candidate will be passionate about solving complex technical problems, with a keen interest in both software engineering and network automation. Qualifications The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in Python development, with extensive experience in designing and implementing REST APIs using frameworks such as Flask and FastAPI. A solid understanding of API authentication, error handling, and documentation is required. Candidates should have hands-on experience working within Linux environments, including Bash scripting and shell scripting, along with familiarity with Docker and Docker Compose for application deployment. Proficiency in database technologies, both SQL and NoSQL such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis, is essential. Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD, along with version control expertise using Git, is also necessary. The candidate should have a good grasp of networking fundamentals, including HTTP, TCP/IP, DNS, and SSH, to effectively integrate applications with telecom network systems and APIs. Additional desirable skills include telecoms or network automation experience, knowledge of 4G and 5G architectures, event-driven architectures like RabbitMQ or Kafka, and familiarity with monitoring tools such as Grafana, ELK Stack, or Prometheus. Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments is advantageous. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain Python-based automation frameworks and scripts to support network testing, data processing, and operational workflows.Create RESTful APIs using Flask and FastAPI to facilitate internal services and cross-team integrations.Develop lightweight web interfaces and dashboards utilizing HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Jinja2 for monitoring and operational purposes.Manage and optimize data storage solutions by working with PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis.Build and maintain Docker environments for application deployment, testing, and development workflows.Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines leveraging Jenkins and GitLab to automate testing, deployment, and integration processes.Automate Linux system tasks using Bash, shell scripts, and cron jobs to improve operational efficiency.Integrate Python applications with telecom network systems and APIs to enable seamless automation and data exchange.Develop automated validation, health checking, and service monitoring capabilities to ensure system reliability.Implement comprehensive logging, monitoring, and error handling mechanisms across automation services.Collaborate with QA, Network Engineering, and DevOps teams to identify automation opportunities and deliver scalable solutions.Support the development of reliable, maintainable, and scalable engineering solutions that meet business requirements.
