Overview
Susquehanna International Group is seeking a Software Developer to join our newly formed Global Routing team.
This team owns the electronic trading connectivity infrastructure that powers Susquehanna’s client-facing brokerage business worldwide.
You'll work on high-impact systems that handle order flow across major global markets, collaborating closely with trading, operations, and technology teams in our U.S., European, and Asian offices.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain systems that support electronic order routing across global markets and venues.Build and enhance FIX connectivity for clients, brokers, exchanges, and internal systems.Partner with business counterparts in Susquehanna's Europe and Asia offices to support international expansion and onboard new trading relationships.Collaborate with traders, operations, developers, and external vendors to troubleshoot and resolve connectivity issues in a fast-paced environment.Contribute to architectural decisions and advocate for scalable, reliable system design.Document systems, workflows, and integration specifications clearly and thoroughly.
What We're Looking For
5+ years of software development experience in C#, Java, or C++.Deep knowledge of the FIX protocol, with hands-on experience implementing or supporting FIX connectivity at a brokerage, trading firm, exchange, fintech, or OMS/EMS vendor.Experience with order routing in a multi-system, global trading environment.Strong analytical skills with the ability to debug complex, distributed systems.Excellent communication skills — you're equally comfortable talking to a quant, a trader, or a client.Familiarity with financial models or algorithmic trading strategies.Experience with low-latency or high-throughput system design.Prior work with connectivity to global exchanges or dark pools.
