About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Fullstack Developer to join our innovative team. In this role, you will take full ownership of the architecture, development, and deployment of modular eCommerce solutions that extend our core platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design scalable, secure, and maintainable systems, ensuring high performance in a high-traffic environment. Your expertise will guide the team through complex technical challenges, establish best practices, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Additionally, you will champion the integration of AI and agentic coding tools to enhance productivity and code quality. This is a strategic position that requires a blend of technical mastery, leadership skills, and a passion for pushing the boundaries of eCommerce technology. Qualifications To succeed in this role, candidates should possess over 8 years of experience in building, scaling, and operating complex fullstack web applications, preferably within eCommerce or SaaS ecosystems. Proficiency in PHP (8.x) and Laravel, including middleware, queues, events, and policies, is essential. Strong frontend development skills with Vue.js 3, TypeScript, and modern state management frameworks such as Pinia are highly desirable. Candidates must have deep architectural expertise in designing secure, multi-tenant, and distributed systems, adhering to principles like SOLID and DRY for long-term maintainability. Advanced knowledge of database and performance engineering—such as MySQL/RDS, schema design, indexing, and Redis caching—is required. Experience with DevOps practices, including Docker, CI/CD pipelines, semantic versioning, AWS infrastructure, and production monitoring tools like DataDog, is critical. Leadership capabilities, including mentoring senior engineers, conducting code reviews, and translating technical decisions into business value, are vital. Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools like Claude Code or Cursor, and a genuine curiosity about AI advancements, will set candidates apart. Responsibilities As a Lead Fullstack Developer, your key responsibilities will include owning the end-to-end architecture of modular add-ons encompassing backend, frontend, and integrations, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and maintainable. You will design and implement advanced backend logic using Laravel, queues, and event-driven architecture, along with optimizing complex database schemas suitable for high-traffic eCommerce environments. Overseeing frontend integration within a micro-frontend setup (SingleSpa) will be part of your role, ensuring seamless performance and a consistent user experience. You will lead the implementation of CI/CD pipelines, manage semantic versioning, and oversee Docker-based environments to facilitate stable releases. Ensuring production reliability through diligent monitoring, alerting, and proactive incident response with tools like DataDog and AWS will be essential. You will act as the technical lead and final reviewer, mentoring engineers, enforcing high code quality standards, and maintaining architectural consistency. Additionally, you will drive the adoption of AI-assisted and agentic coding workflows, establishing best practices, guardrails, and quality standards for their use in production environments.
