Job Description
We are looking for an experienced GCP Cloud DevOps Engineer to join an agile team responsible for building and managing highly resilient, scalable and performant cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
The role will work closely with Application DevOps teams and cross-functional IT teams to automate infrastructure, improve cloud services and ensure security, compliance and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
Build and manage GCP cloud foundation platforms to support application deployments.Design and implement cloud solutions using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), particularly Terraform.Configure and manage common cloud services including IAM, networking, logging, operating systems and containers.Implement and maintain cloud security and compliance standards.Ensure operational risk requirements across networking, firewalls, OS, logging, monitoring, availability and resiliency.Support change management and maintain operational documentation.Investigate and adopt new GCP products and services where appropriate.Collaborate with Application DevOps, IT and global/local technology teams.Participate in a rotational 24x7 on-call support schedule.Required Skills & Experience
Strong experience building and managing services on a Cloud Service Provider, preferably GCP.Strong understanding of DevOps principles and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).Hands-on experience with Terraform.Strong knowledge of CI/CD concepts and tools.Experience with Software-Defined Networking (SDN), including VPC and XPN.Experience with IAM, ADFS, OAuth, cloud security and compliance/auditing/monitoring tools.Experience with cloud infrastructure, containers, operating systems, networking and logging.Strong programming/scripting experience in at least one of: Python, Ruby, Java, JavaScript, Go, Groovy or Scala.Strong problem-solving and continuous-improvement mindset.Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.Fluent Polish and English.
