Shield HealthCare is looking for a Web Developer in our Valencia, CA corporate office. The Web Developer is responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of the organization’s websites, Intranet web pages, and other web-based systems, including web pages currently hosted by web service providers and web pages internally hosted by the organization. This is an on-site position in Valencia, CA. Job Responsibilities Consults with management and members of the IT development team to gather information about desired web UI, intent, functions, features, data requirements, input/output requirements, internal and external checks and controls, operating system, web browser environments and interfaces to other systemsDetermine web-based solutions for external and internal sitesCreates test transactions and runs tests to find errorsConfirm web pages meet specificationsAnalyzes code to find causes of errorsAssist staff with web-based product compatibility issuesWrites and maintains documentation specifications of changes to web pages and programsResponsible for assuring high level of Internet search optimization Accountable to always provide quality results in their workCompletes special projects as assigned, supporting team and organizational objectives and continuous improvement initiatives Qualifications 5+ years web design/development creation/modification experienceFormal code design/development lifecycle experience Thorough experience with design using ASP.NET, .NET Core, Visual Studio, Git, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, C# programming and other software environmentsSound knowledge of Windows IIS, React, Angular, .NET Framework, AJAX, or other web technologiesExperience with commerce applications, nopCommerce and BigCommerceDatabase development experience with Microsoft SQL ServerFamiliarity with CI/CD with GitHub ActionsPreferred experience with Docker & LinuxProficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, Teams)Creative thinker with strong design and production skills in digital mediumsMust be extremely organized and thorough with code design and associated documentationExperience creating effective web design to maximize search engine prioritizationExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and respond to changing business needs Salary & Benefits $120-145k annually plus bonus opportunityMedical, Dental, and Vision401(k) with Company Match Sick and Vacation Days Flexible Spending Account Life & Disability Insurance Education AssistanceEmployee Referral Program Career-minded individuals will find our business challenging and our reputation for excellence just one of the rewards we have to offer. The posted range for this position is $120-145k which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role.
