Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer for a client in the technology industry located in the United States.
The Senior DevOps Engineer position is fully remote.
The Senior DevOps Engineer role is ideal for an experienced platform engineer with expertise in Kubernetes, deployment automation, and developer enablement, focused on creating scalable platform solutions and golden paths that accelerate application delivery across engineering teams.
Responsibilities of the Senior DevOps Engineer include:
Design and evolve Kubernetes-based deployment platforms that support enterprise-scale applications and engineering teams.
Develop and maintain standardized "golden paths" that streamline application onboarding, deployment, and operational best practices.
Build and optimize GitOps-driven deployment workflows utilizing ArgoCD, Argo Rollouts, or related Kubernetes-native tooling.
Partner closely with software engineering teams to improve developer experience, platform adoption, and release efficiency.
Drive platform automation initiatives through infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD enhancements, and self-service engineering capabilities.
Requirements of the Senior DevOps Engineer include:
7+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or related infrastructure roles.
Hands-on experience designing and supporting Kubernetes platforms in production environments at scale.
Strong experience with ArgoCD, GitOps methodologies, and modern deployment automation frameworks.
Object-Oriented Programming background with proficiency in Java, Go, Python, C#, or similar languages.
Experience building internal developer platforms, deployment frameworks, or standardized engineering workflows that improve software delivery.
Compensation for the Senior DevOps Engineer include:
$150,000 - $180,000 annually Full Comprehensive Benefits: Health, Vision, Dental, PTO, Paid Holiday and Sick Leave if Required by Law.
