Job Title: Telemetry Engineer Location: 100% Remote (U.S.) Position Type: Full-time, Direct W2 Salary Range: $100,000–$150,000 Annually Experience Required: 6+ years Sponsorship: U.S. Citizens, Green Card Holders, EAD Holders, and H-1B transfer candidates are encouraged to apply. Job Summary We are seeking a Telemetry Engineer to design, implement, and manage enterprise observability platforms that provide actionable insights through metrics, logs, traces, and alerting. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with modern observability tools, SRE practices, and monitoring solutions for large-scale cloud environments. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field5+ years of experience in SRE, Platform Engineering, or ObservabilityStrong experience with Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, and Datadog, New Relic, or SplunkProficiency in Go, Python, or JavaExperience with distributed tracing, structured logging, Linux, containers, and CI/CDStrong understanding of SRE principles, SLOs, and incident management Preferred Qualifications Experience with Thanos, Mimir, Cortex, Loki, or TempoFamiliarity with eBPF-based observability toolsExperience with observability cost optimizationContributions to OpenTelemetry or other observability open-source projectsExperience supporting regulated environments How To Apply Would you like to know more about this opportunity?
