Full Stack Software Engineer Intern

**Location:** San Jose, CA **Work Arrangement:** Remote **Job Type:** Internship **Compensation:** Paid, compensation to be discussed based on experience and availability. ### About the Role We are looking for a motivated **Full Stack Developer Intern** to join our team and help build, improve, and maintain modern web applications. This is a hands-on internship where you will work on real product features across both frontend and backend systems. You will collaborate closely with the engineering and product teams, contribute to active projects, and gain practical experience building production-ready applications. ### Responsibilities * Develop and maintain responsive web applications across frontend and backend systems * Build reusable UI components and implement new product features * Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services * Work with databases to create, retrieve, update, and manage application data * Debug technical issues and improve application performance and reliability * Integrate third-party APIs, authentication systems, and external services * Participate in code reviews, testing, and technical discussions * Collaborate with product and engineering teams to turn requirements into working features * Help improve existing architecture, workflows, and development processes * Write clean, maintainable, and well-structured code ### Qualifications * Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience * Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript * Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks such as React or Next.js * Understanding of backend development using Node.js or similar technologies * Familiarity with relational or NoSQL databases * Basic understanding of REST APIs, Git, and modern web development practices * Strong problem-solving and debugging skills * Ability to work independently in a remote environment * Willingness to learn new technologies and take ownership of assigned projects ### Nice to Have * Experience with Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js, or Express * Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Prisma * Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud * Experience with authentication, payment systems, or third-party API integrations * Personal projects, internship experience, GitHub contributions, or deployed web applications ### What We Value We care more about practical skills, curiosity, and the ability to build than years of experience.
