Description
We are seeking an experienced Network Automation & Tooling Engineer to join an established team delivering network infrastructure separation for a large-scale corporate divestiture programme.
You will build and operate automated pipelines, manage the network Single Source of Truth, and deploy new monitoring, observability, and out-of-band management platforms to ensure a clean operational split.
Key Responsibilities
CI/CD & Infrastructure as Code: Build and deploy network configuration changes through automated GitOps pipelines using Terraform for brownfield migrations.Automation Development: Maintain Python-based automation tooling (Nornir, NAPALM, pyATS) and integrate workflows with Nautobot as the single source of truth.Monitoring & Observability: Design and build a new SaaS-first monitoring platform (LogicMonitor) while cleaning up, decoupling, and adjusting RBAC on legacy systems (SolarWinds, ELK).Platform Duplication & Split: Duplicate Nautobot microservices and Opengear out-of-band designs into cloud hosting (AWS ECS), removing cross-entity access and integrations.Network Operations: Support RIPE LIR registration activities, including new ASN procurement and prefix migration.
