The Mid Software Engineer designs, develops, and supports cloud-native applications, APIs, and event-driven services for enterprise customers.
This role owns features end-to-end, deploys solutions through Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines, and works with distributed systems to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing software.
Responsibilities
Design and develop applications and APIs using Java, Kotlin, Python, TypeScript, or similar technologiesBuild event-driven architectures using Kafka, including producers, consumers, retries, and error handlingDevelop asynchronous and reactive services for scalable, high-performance systemsDeploy and manage applications on Kubernetes and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with automated testing, security scanning, and deployment automationMonitor, troubleshoot, and optimize production applications and distributed systemsWrite clean, maintainable code following SOLID principles and engineering best practicesParticipate in code reviews, Agile ceremonies, and cross-functional collaboration
Required Experience & Skills
4–7 years of experience building production-grade software applications and servicesStrong experience with at least one language/framework pair such as Java/Spring Boot, Kotlin, Python/FastAPI, TypeScript/Node, or .NETExperience designing and consuming REST, GraphQL, or gRPC APIsStrong knowledge of Kafka and event-driven architecturesHands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)Strong understanding of distributed systems, observability, monitoring, and performance optimizationExperience with relational and NoSQL databasesStrong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills
