About The Role We are seeking a Forward-Deployed Engineer to join a pioneering company focused on revolutionizing AI systems for scientific and engineering applications. This role involves working directly with customer organizations to translate complex engineering challenges into deployable AI systems, impacting the future of photonics and electronics design. What You'll Be Doing Engage with customer teams to understand and translate engineering requirements into technical architectures.Develop high-impact software prototypes and AI-assisted workflows for photonic modeling and simulation automation.Collaborate with internal teams to convert field learnings into scalable platform capabilities. What We're Looking For MSc or PhD in a relevant science or engineering field.4+ years of experience in software engineering or applied AI roles.Strong programming skills in Python and experience with modern AI tools.Excellent communication skills and experience working with customers to deliver technical solutions.A collaborative and solution-driven approach. Nice to Have Experience with agentic AI solutions and modern frameworks like LangChain or Ray.Familiarity with EDA environments and hardware-software co-design.Understanding of cloud infrastructure and deployment workflows.Experience with enterprise deployment models and HPC environments.
