The Systems Engineer position exists to support the objectives of Focus on the Family ministry departments by providing proactive engineering, sustaining computer end user services, and system administration service support and delivery in support of strategic ministry goals and objectives.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Is responsible for sustaining computer end user services for MacsIs responsible for design, rollout, and support of Mac end user standardsPartners with teams for sustaining computer end user services for PCsPartners with teams for design, rollout, and support of Windows PC end user standardsRequires an advance knowledge of Jamf Pro application and serversRequires knowledge of SCCM/MECM/InTuneImplements, maintains, administrates, and configures the enterprise Jamf Pro on-premises and in SaaS/Cloud environment(s)Partners with teams to maintain, administrate and configure SCCM/MECM/InTune on-premises and in SaaS/Cloud environment(s) Packages macOS applications to be distributed using Jamf ProPartners with teams to packages Microsoft packages to be distributed using SCCM/MECM/InTuneRequires an advance knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory (AD) and integrating Mac systems with ADRequires an intermediate knowledge of Okta, SAML and oAuthRequires an intermediate knowledge of Active Directory Certificate Services (ADCS)Develops and maintains Mac deployment automation architecture, design/migration, and troubleshootingPartners with teams to develop and maintain PC deployment automation architecture, design/migration, and troubleshootingAdheres to procedures for Incident Management, Problem Management, Service Level Management, Change Management and Configuration ManagementConsults and implements solutions for enterprise services related to the end userPerforms break/fix activities and Level-3 support for end-user related incidentsTrains L2 and L1 teams, if necessary, on new technology changes and provides KB documentation of routine tasks and processesRecommends acquisition of appropriate end user hardware standards to improve performance, and reliabilityEvaluates emerging technologies to ensure technical solutions are compatible with the ministry's business needs and strategic objectivesProvides technical expertise, guidance, and strategic recommendations for all Mac deployments Partners with teams to provide technical expertise, guidance, and strategic recommendations for all PC deployments Establishes, maintains, and enforces policies and procedures for server system security including server system password maintenance, rights, and profile maintenance in accordance with IT Security policies

Knowledge/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or equivalent experience in the associated technology fieldJamf Certified ExpertMicrosoft’s System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM/MECM) or InTune Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE) or equivalent experience a plus7-10 years of experience in an enterprise environment of 500 computers or moreExperience in Windows Server (2016, 2019), Windows 10, Apple operating systems

Pay Range: $104,949 to $123,059
