A leading automotive organization located in Raymond, OH is seeking a Software (Automation) Engineer to support automation and analytics initiatives within its vehicle development team.
This role sits within the In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) software development group, supporting systems such as radio, navigation, and in-car applications.
The position focuses on improving team efficiency through automation, data management, and reporting solutions using Microsoft Power Platform and SharePoint.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automated workflows using Microsoft Power AutomateBuild and support SharePoint-based solutions (Lists, Forms, document management, workflows)Develop Power BI dashboards and reports to provide visibility into team metrics, resource allocation, and project performanceAnalyze current processes and identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvementsIntegrate systems and data sources using REST APIs and other integration toolsCreate and maintain automation solutions leveraging scripting tools such as PowerShell and Python (preferred)Support and enhance collaboration tools including Jira and ConfluenceTest, deploy, and maintain automation workflows and solutionsCollaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable automation solutionsCreate documentation, training materials, and user guides for developed toolsProvide ongoing support and troubleshooting for automation and reporting solutions
Required Qualifications
2–3+ years of experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power BI, Power Apps)Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related fieldExperience designing and implementing automated workflows and process improvementsHands-on experience with system integrations and REST APIsExperience building dashboards and data visualizations using Power BIFamiliarity with SharePoint, Jira, and ConfluenceStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
