Develop early prototypes of product components and rigorously validate them for technical design, security, scalability, and performance. Collaborate with Product/Application teams, peer architects, and partner organizations to evaluate, select, recommend, and configure technologies. Lead the design and take ownership of solutions architecture, presenting architecture solution options clearly to product owners and architecture leadership. Collaborate closely with development teams to translate software architecture into cutting-edge designs, while upholding standards and best practices. As a Software Architect, these skills are essential for success: Abilities: Ability to demonstrate extensive knowledge of APIs, UIs, infrastructure, security, and emerging technologies. Ability to keep an end-to-end view when designing complex distributed solutions with a “big picture” approach. Ability to provide services to a variety of internal and external clients. Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in hands-on development and application design in the delivery of software products. Minimum 5 years of experience in an architect role in previous large-scale software development projects, preferably SaaS delivery model. Strong experience designing for container-based deployment; working knowledge of Azure or AWS. Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related discipline is preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience. The posted salary range reflects the minimum and maximum target for this position’s compensation grade and represents a blended range across our three hub locations: Florida, Massachusetts, and Wisconsin. Within this range, individual compensation is determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to job-related skills, experience, and education. This range may also be adjusted based on geographic location and market conditions. In addition to base salary, total compensation may include bonuses, incentive plans, and a comprehensive benefits package.
