Cloud Infrastructure Administrator – Windows/Linux & VMware Location: Raleigh, NC Duration: 12+ Months Contract Rate: $40–45/hour W2 | $50–55/hour C2C/1099 We are seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Administrator to support a highly available hybrid environment spanning Windows and Linux servers, VMware virtualization, cloud platforms, networking, and enterprise security tools. Key Requirements5+ years of experience administering Windows and Linux server environments.Hands-on experience with VMware or Hyper-V virtualization.Experience supporting AWS, Azure, or hybrid cloud infrastructure.Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching, VPNs, and cloud/on-premises connectivity.Experience with PowerShell, Bash, or other scripting tools for automation and troubleshooting.Knowledge of patching, backups, monitoring, performance tuning, log analysis, and incident support.Experience with monitoring/security tools such as Splunk, CrowdStrike, Security Onion, or WhatsUp Gold.Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills. Preferred SkillsF5 BIG-IP load balancer administration.Palo Alto firewall support, including security policies and NAT rules.Cloud networking, cloud migration, database replication, or database migration experience.Familiarity with automation/configuration-management tools.Relevant certifications in Microsoft, Linux, VMware, AWS, Azure, F5, Palo Alto, or networking.
