Summary

A senior full-stack engineering role using Java, a modern web framework, and a popular enterprise application framework to build end-to-end applications. Responsibilities include designing RESTful microservices, developing accessible web interfaces, writing meaningful automated tests, participating in technical discussions, and mentoring other developers.
Highlights
Build full-stack applications end to end across backend microservices and modern web interfaces. The role combines hands-on development with customer-facing technical discussions, solution design, mentoring, and opportunities to improve engineering tools and patterns.
Description
You will design and build full stack applications end to end using Angular, Java, Spring Boot and REST, following Twelve-Factor App methodology.
On the back end that means designing and shipping microservices with Spring Boot and RESTful architecture, and writing real unit coverage with JUnit and Mockito rather than checking a box.
On the front end it means building single page interfaces and reusable web components, and making them work correctly across browsers and meet Section 508 accessibility standards, which on this program is a functional requirement rather than an afterthought.
You will sit in customer technical and design discussions and be expected to propose solutions there, not take notes.
You will also mentor the mid level developers on the team, and you will have room to bring in better tooling and better patterns where you can make the case for them.
What You Need
Strong hands on Java, with deep design and programming experience across the Java and JEE ecosystemAngular 9 or above, in production, recently.
