What You'll Do
Own the embedded stack end to end - you'd be the first electrical hire in the US, and this domain is yoursWrite and tune BLDC motor-control loops on real hardwareIntegrate sensors: IMUs, encoders, current sensing - and make the data trustworthyBuild the OTA infrastructure so we can update units in the fieldBuild the debug and logging tooling the rest of the team relies on to find problems fastTake boards from schematic through bring-up, and debug them yourself when they don't workWork directly with our manufacturing team overseas including travel
What We're Looking For
Real-time firmware and motor control on physical robots or autonomous systems, not simulationsYou've written control loops at the loop level, on hardware that shippedComfortable across the whole stack - schematic, board bring-up, firmware, tooling — not just one layerYou've built debug and OTA infrastructure from scratch, or you're the person who wished someone hadFluent with a scope, a logic analyzer and a debugger, and you reach for them before you reach for a theoryYou've been early on a hard program and know what that costsWilling to relocate to Palo Alto
