Senior Certificate Automation Engineer

Job Title: Senior Certificate Automation Engineer Employment Type: Contract Duration: December 31, 2026 (Possible extension) Ideal Rate: $90- $95 (Based on Experience) Remote/ Hybrid Must haves: 5+ years of Security Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering or Platform Engineering experience.Strong hands-on experience with PKI, SSL/TLS and certificate lifecycle management.Experience with enterprise certificate automation.Hands-on experience with CyberArk Machine Identity Security / Venafi or an equivalent certificate management platform.Strong understanding of cryptography, certificate trust chains and machine identity security.Experience with HashiCorp Vault, preferably the Vault PKI Secrets Engine.Experience with several of: AWS Certificate Manager (ACM), EKS / Kubernetes, F5, Akamai, Microsoft Graph, Azure / AWS, REST APIsStrong automation experience with Python and/or PowerShell.Experience with Terraform, Ansible, Git, CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code.Knowledge of Linux/Windows administration, networking and load balancers/reverse proxies. Preferred Qualifications Strong experience with Vault PKI.Security certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, Security+, GIAC or equivalent.Experience working in Agile/DevOps environments.
