Japanese-English Business Development Specialist

Pegasus Tech Ventures is currently seeking a Japanese & English Bilingual Business Development team member, passionate about venture capital / technology startups to join its HQ in San Jose, California. We are a global VC firm headquartered in Silicon Valley. We manage 35+ funds, primarily for large global corporations, and invest into startups, then facilitate business development between the corporations & startups. Primary Responsibilities Support partners, clients and business development activities with top global companiesManage communications on daily basis with potential investors and process requestsSupport business development activities and relationship building to acquire new investors or clientsSupport establishment of new fundsCommunicate investment or partnership details with investors/LPs in JapanSupport corporate investment market researchWork with prospective clients on selected projectsSupport marketing initiatives and lead generation activitiesSupport other projects as needed Qualifications Must have native level Japanese language skill for speaking, reading and writingMust have business level English language skillHave a Bachelor’s degree. Having advanced degree is a plusPrior relevant work experience is a plus (relevant managerial experience, working with a venture capital, startup/tech companies or have worked in investing roles preferred)Have deep passion and understanding of technologyWork well in a team environment and be sociableHave strong written and oral communication skillsHave strong presentation skillsHave strong analytical skills and business acumenHave the drive to succeed and is willing to take initiativeNeed to be able to work from the Silicon Valley headquarters office (Visa support available) *Please make sure to include resume when you are submitting the application
