Cloud Engineer

DataStaff, Inc is seeking a Cloud Engineer for a long-term contract opportunity with one of our direct clients located in Raleigh, NC. * This position is hybrid; there may be the occasional need to be on-site * Statewide travel required Responsibilities: Responsible for designing and developing software solutions for cloud-based operating systemsBuilds and maintains infrastructure as code (IaC) using DevOps methodology and versioning with a descriptive model to define and deploy infrastructure, such as networks, virtual machines, load balancers, and connection topologies.Providing a reliable and scalable platform for developers to build and deploy applicationsResponsible for designing, implementing, and managing the cloud network infrastructure, including the deployment and configuration of cloud-based network solutions to ensure high performance, reliability, and security Required Skills: 7 Years - Thorough knowledge of DevOps principles and practices and tools7 Years - Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)7 Years - Thorough knowledge of cloud infrastructure best practices, including security, scalability, and performance optimization7 Years - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills This opportunity is available on a corp-to-corp basis or as a W2 position with a competitive benefits package.
