Required:
Experience: 4+ years of professional WordPress development with a strong portfolio showcasing custom Divi implementations.
Time Zone: Must be able to work and communicate effectively during US Central Time hours.
Divi Mastery: Deep understanding of the Divi ecosystem, Theme Builder, library global items, and how to write custom CSS overrides without breaking the visual builder.
Performance Expertise: Proven track record of optimizing heavy Divi code footprints, configuring advanced caching (WP Rocket, Redis), and optimizing imagery.
Technical Stack: Strong proficiency in PHP, JavaScript (jQuery and Vanilla JS), HTML5, CSS3/SASS, and Git version control.
Responsibilities:
Will serve as our technical anchor, building high-performance websites from the ground up while simultaneously auditing, troubleshooting, and speeding up our legacy Divi platforms.
Must be available to collaborate during core US Central Time (CST) business hours.
ResponsibilitiesNew Builds: Develop responsive, clean, and modern websites from scratch using WordPress, Divi, and custom child themes.
Legacy Optimization: Audit existing Divi sites to identify bloat, fix layout conflicts, improve Core Web Vitals, and drastically decrease page load times.
Custom Code: Write clean PHP, JavaScript, and CSS/SASS to extend Divi's native capabilities and integrate third-party APIs.
Design to Code: Experience building responsive Divi layouts.
Database & Security: Optimize MySQL databases, clean up legacy plugin remnants, and ensure all sites are fully secure.
