Responsibilities: Deploy and support Virtualitics’ platform within DoD and commercial customer environmentsDesign, build, and maintain secure cloud and hybrid infrastructureImplement and enforce security controls across CI/CD, Kubernetes, and cloud environmentsMitigate container and dependency vulnerabilities using automated scanning and remediationworkflowsBuild and improve automation for infrastructure provisioning, deployment, monitoring, andcomplianceSupport ATO processes and ongoing compliance effortsInvestigate and resolve infrastructure and deployment issuesCollaborate with Platform Engineers, AI Engineers, Data Scientists, and QA to ensure secure, scalabledeployment architectures Skills & Qualifications BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field5+ years of experience in DevSecOps, DevOps, or cloud security engineeringAdvanced AWS experience (EC2, VPC, S3, ECR, EKS, RDS, Route 53/DNS, IAM, SSO, Bedrock, CloudWatch,Secrets Manager)Strong experience with Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)Kubernetes expertise including RBAC, network policies, and pod security standardsExperience designing and implementing secure CI/CD pipelines that scan code, build and sign hardenedcontainer images, generate SBOMs, publish to secure registries, and automate deployment intoKubernetes environmentsExperience with container hardening and secure registries (e.g., Iron Bank, Chainguard)Experience deploying containerized workloads into DoD environments (Platform One, Cloud One, Palantir, FedStart, etc.)Knowledge of NIST 800-53, NIST 800-171, and CMMC 2.0 controlsExperience with MySQL and PostgreSQL database administration We Offer: At Virtualitics, you’ll join a high-performance team of scientists, strategists, and servicemembers building AI that operates in the world’s most demanding environments.
