Senior Full-Stack Software Developer

Position Overview We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Developer to design, develop, test, implement, integrate, and support business-critical web applications and software solutions. The successful candidate will work across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), collaborating with IT professionals, business stakeholders, and subject matter experts to translate technical and business requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable applications. The role requires strong hands-on experience with Java/J2EE, JSF, Spring, MyBatis, Angular/JavaScript, RESTful APIs, Oracle, SQL, web services, and n-tier web application development. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, implement, test, maintain, and support full-stack web applications. Translate technical specifications and business requirements into working, tested applications. Develop programming specifications and write, compile, test, debug, and document code. Design and implement data pipelines, including extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL). Develop and integrate front-end interfaces with back-end APIs and services. Design and develop RESTful API services and integrate them with user interfaces. Design and implement database solutions, including relational database structures and SQL queries. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues throughout development, deployment, migration, and production support. Provide technical assistance during application implementation, conversion, and migration activities. Participate in design walkthroughs, code reviews, testing, and deployment activities. Collaborate with IT professionals, stakeholders, and subject matter experts throughout the SDLC. Develop reusable, maintainable, and testable application components. Provide post-implementation support and resolve technical issues. Prepare technical, user, and system documentation. Required Technical Skills Java & Web Application Development Strong experience with Java, J2EE, and JSF. Experience with HTML/DHTML, XML, and XSL. Hands-on experience developing n-tier web-based applications. Experience with Tomcat, WebLogic, EJB, and Servlets. Experience with REST and SOAP web services. Frameworks & Front-End Technologies Experience with Spring and MyBatis. Experience with Bootstrap and jQuery. Strong knowledge of Angular/AngularJS, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Experience developing responsive and reusable UI components. Experience integrating front-end applications with APIs. Understanding of UX/UI principles. Experience developing AODA-compliant web solutions. APIs & Integration Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs. Experience with Swagger/OpenAPI documentation. Experience integrating APIs with front-end applications. Experience with middleware and gateway technologies. Understanding of web services and application integration. Database & ETL Strong experience with Oracle and SQL. Experience developing Oracle SQL scripts and working with relational database management systems (RDBMS). Experience designing, deploying, managing, and optimizing databases. Experience with ETL processes. Experience with SQL Server is an asset. Experience with reporting tools such as Jasper. DevOps & Delivery Experience with Azure DevOps and JIRA. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Knowledge of CI/CD practices and deployment processes. Experience supporting iterative and agile SDLC processes. Public Sector Experience Public-sector Experience Is Considered An Asset, Including Experience with public-sector application architecture and development methodologies. Knowledge of GO-ITS standards. Familiarity with Threat Risk Assessment (TRA) processes. Familiarity with Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) processe
