Senior DevOps Engineer – Python & GitHub Platform

In this role, you will Design develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub ActionsCreate reusable and scalable GitHub workflow templates for build, test, deployment and release automationDevelop automation solutions using Python scripting for operational tasks, infrastructure management and DevOps workflowsIntegrate GitHub with external tools and platforms through APIs and automation frameworksImplement branch management, code quality gates, security scanning and deployment governance within CI/CD pipelinesTroubleshoot and optimize build and deployment process to improve reliability and performanceManage and maintain GitHub repositories, permissions, secrets, and workflow configurationsEnsure adherence to DevSecOps, security, compliance and operational standardsCreate and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and automation guidelines We believe hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Total compensation We regularly assess market data to ensure we offer a competitive compensation package for our associates. The base salary for this position ranges between $49,000 – $95,500 (CAD) per year. Where the successful candidate may fall within the range depends on relevant education, work and/or management experience and other business-related and job-necessary qualifications. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual performance-based bonus, as well as benefits that support your physical, mental and financial wellbeing.
