JOB SUMMARY: Your role : As an Operations Engineer, you join a multidisciplinary, international agile squad based in Leeuwarden that develops, maintains, and operates its own systems. You contribute throughout the full lifecycle—from refining user stories to ensuring production stability and observability. What we expect: • Work both independently and collaboratively • Communicate clearly and openly in English • Show a proactive, learning oriented mindset • Be detail oriented and able to deliver under pressure • Share knowledge effectively within the team • Have experience in corporate and/or financial agile environments • Have experience with large scale, high availability platforms (24/7, resilience, reliability) • Perform platform operations (deployments, automation, LCM, support, risk, coding, testing, runbooks, incident/change management, observability, capacity, dependencies, service availability) • Design reusable automation and tooling for multiple teams • Participate in standby/on call rotations Required skills: • Postgres application DBA experience (setup, usage, performance, monitoring, DDL, optimization) • Linux and shell scripting (Bash / Python) • Containerization (Docker) • Ansible • Azure DevOps Pipelines • Git / GitHub / Maven • Observability tooling (ELKaaS, Prometheus, Grafana) What we offer: • Hybrid working (at least one day per week on-site in Leeuwarden) • A challenging and evolving technological environment • Access to Client learning platforms
