Senior DevOps Engineer - Azure Local

Description Project is a software/platform-focused centered on Azure Arc, virtualization (Hyper-V), and hybrid cloud service. Requirements We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot Azure Local (formerly Azure Stack HCI) and hybrid on-premises/cloud infrastructure. This is a software/platform-focused role centered on Azure Arc, virtualization (Hyper-V), and hybrid cloud service reliability — not a hardware role. Beyond hands-on 2nd/3rd level support, the successful candidate is expected to bring deep technical expertise to complex incidents and act as a trusted technical advisor to customers, vendors, and internal teams on implementation projects. Must-Have Technical Skills: Strong understanding of Azure Local (previously Azure Stack HCI) — software/Azure Arc focus. Strong understanding of virtualization, especially Microsoft Hyper-V. Hands-on experience with Azure Storage, Virtual Machines, Networking, Azure Active Directory, and RBAC. Solid grounding in hybrid infrastructure and on-prem/cloud integration. 5+ years of experience in cloud and infrastructure operations, with demonstrated ownership of 2nd/3rd level support and escalations. Proven track record operating and supporting hybrid/on-prem Azure solutions in production, enterprise-grade environments. Ability to act as a technical escalation point within the team. Nice-to-Have: German B2 Scripting/automation experience: PowerShell, Azure CLI, Terraform. ITIL knowledge for incident, change, and problem management. Experience contributing to solution design, automation, and optimization initiatives. Prior experience leading or coordinating hybrid cloud implementation projects end-to-end.
