Role Description As a Founding Software Engineer — AI & Full Stack at Moatira Inc., you will work directly with the founder and take significant ownership of product development and technical implementation.
This is a hands-on, full-stack role.
You should be comfortable working across frontend, backend, databases, AI integration, and cloud infrastructure.
You will evaluate and integrate AI/ML tools and frameworks, optimize application performance, and ensure reliability and security across the stack.
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Markham, ON, where you will help establish engineering best practices and mentor future team members.
Qualifications
Strong software engineering fundamentals.
Strong TypeScript / JavaScript skills.
Experience with React and modern full-stack web development.
Backend, API, SQL, and relational database experience.
Experience building and deploying production software.
Familiarity with LLM APIs and AI application development.
Familiarity with modern cloud platforms, managed services, and serverless architectures.
Ability to independently take a feature from idea to production.
