About The Role
We are seeking experienced Full Stack Application Engineers to join our dynamic technology team at Kaiser Permanente.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, supporting, and enhancing enterprise web applications within a global delivery environment.
As a key contributor, you will work closely with architects, technical leads, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions that meet the organization’s strategic objectives.
This position requires a hands-on developer with strong coding, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, capable of working collaboratively across onshore, offshore, and Global Capacity Center (GCC) teams.
You will play a vital role in developing internet applications and software tools, supporting product vision, and ensuring the security and compliance of all solutions developed.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related field.
Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
A minimum of two years of experience in software development or related areas is required, with at least one year of experience specifically developing or implementing web-based applications.
Candidates should have hands-on experience working with web application frameworks such as Angular, HTML5, CSS, and GraphQL.
Strong communication skills, adaptability to support global time zones, and the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams are essential.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications and enterprise solutions that align with organizational goals and standards.Collaborate with product teams, architects, and stakeholders to understand requirements, define technical specifications, and deliver end-to-end solutions.Implement cloud-based applications, content management systems (CMS), and integration solutions across various platforms.Conduct troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization to ensure high-quality application performance.Research and resolve technical issues promptly, providing effective solutions and recommendations for improvements.Ensure all work complies with Kaiser Permanente’s security policies, standards, and best practices in software development.Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to maintain high standards of quality and maintainability.Support the deployment and ongoing maintenance of applications, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve development practices and tools.Work effectively within a global team environment, demonstrating flexibility and excellent communication skills to support various time zones and cultural differences.
