About The Role We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Software Engineer to join our dynamic team at Socket.dev. Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience in software development, preferably with expertise in modern programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, or Java.Strong understanding of software development principles, algorithms, and data structures.Experience with web development frameworks and technologies such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient software applications that meet business requirements.Collaborate with product teams to understand user needs and translate them into technical solutions.Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, consistency, and best practices.Write comprehensive documentation for code, APIs, and system processes.Identify and troubleshoot software defects, performance issues, and other technical challenges.Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve our development processes.Assist in the deployment and integration of new features, ensuring smooth rollouts and minimal disruptions.Mentor junior team members and contribute to a positive and productive team environment.
