Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a DevOps Engineer.
The DevOps Engineer will design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure to support production and development environments, with a strong focus on reliability and performance.
Daily responsibilities include building and managing CI pipelines, automating deployments, monitoring systems and applications, and troubleshooting production issues in collaboration with development and operations teams.
The role also involves maintaining secure and compliant environments, optimizing resource usage, and documenting processes and standards.
The DevOps Engineer will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure smooth releases and continuous improvement of the technical stack.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Infrastructure as Code (IaC) skills, including experience with tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar solutions.Candidates should possess Software Development skills, including scripting or programming in languages such as Python, Go, or Java, and familiarity with version control systems.Candidates should possess Continuous Integration skills, including experience configuring and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or CircleCI.Candidates should possess System Administration and Linux skills, including managing servers, networking fundamentals, and troubleshooting in Linux-based environments.Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization/orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is highly beneficial.Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and effective written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently in a remote setting, collaborate across time zones, and manage multiple priorities.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
